(no subject)
I had auditions at Missouri State Friday. They went well, I think. I messed up my Bach prelude, but I managed to get back on, even if I did have to repeat a couple lines. Anyhow, the Fugue and the Danse went well, and I think I redeemed myself. Afterward, when I was taking my theory test, Dr. Collins, the head of the piano dept., said to my parents that he wanted me there and was going to do all within his power to do so (meaning $$$). I'll take that as an unofficial acceptance. :-D
In other collegiate news, ASU sent me a letter saying that I will receive their highest scholarship. It pays for everything except books, along with a $600/semester stipend, which is enough to purchase books. So, yay for that, if I do end up going there.
This Friday, I audition at ASU. I'm a little scared, because I haven't worked on the Sonata much, and I have to play it in addition to the others for them. I'm going to leave Thursday after school.
And that's that.
