College
So, I received a letter today informing me that I did not receive the Presidential Scholarship from Missouri State, which is very unfortunate. I don't know if it's even a possibility to go there without my parents having to make huge sacrifices to pay for it. And, of course, they'd have to do this for 4 years. There's hope, though, that my mother will get the new job she's been after with a nice pay increase, but it doesn't seem like anything will be set in stone for a couple months. I'd really like to go to Missouri State, but I just don't know how it'll happen.
As for ASU, Summer told me some exciting news. Her friend Chad knows the Honors Scholar who was one of my interviewers, and she said that I made a perfect score on my interview! So, logically, it seems that I'll be getting that scholarship, although I can't say that officially. Plus, Dr. Clark (the piano professor) told one of her students who knows Summer that I was very talented, which makes me feel good.
So...the choice is: struggle to pay for a college that I really want to attend OR get paid $1200 a year to go to a college that I'm not particularly fond of.
