Tales From The Northern Side. Day one.
So today was the 1st full day in Finland and it was.....too many words and emotions at once :D
We went with Suvi to Helsinki. She went to buy her Tuska ticket from Tiketti and then we went to see Tavastia. I HAD to see this legendary place, even though I am not going to visit it this time. Then we went to Kamppi....To Kamppi we went.. I really really really wanted to do all the shopping at the end of my trip. Really. *ahem* So blame all of those stores and Suvi for the fact that I spent like 100e on some useless stuff :D
Then I met with Toni *ahem* It went better than me, him or anyone expected. My feet are really hurting like hell now, but you know, I have some amazing feeling of Helsinki. I can find the needed place just by the feeling of intuition. Was surprised. Then I met with Suvi again, did some more shopping and then we went back to Vantaa.
I still can't fully realize that I am here. I am completely in love with Helsinki. My belief that it is a place for me to live only became more firm. It is so silent and...fresh. I am pretending to be all Finnish, throwing 'kiitos' all over the place :D I finally tried salmiakki today. It ended both times in the garbage can. Dunno how can Finns eat this..
What I really don't like are all those people on bikes!! Annoying. And those beeping traffic lights.. :S
Time runs too fast and I know that very soon I will have to leave :(
But well, that will be all for today. All pics will be posted from home already.
