EDIT: Ok. Here's what happened. My mom woke me up this morning to tell me that the Pope was dead. I did not take the time to verify that claim. APOLOGIES.
However, since he will be dead soon, I'll leave the rest of the post as is.

Like thorne_scratch said, he's the only Pope I've ever known (which almost sounds like a song lyric, Whitesnake or something.)

Wouldn't it be a kick in the cassock if the next Pope turned out to be THE GAY? Like, what if they elected this new guy and he turned out to be a really great pope, got all the C&E Catholics back regularly, and was just some super-cool pope, then dropped a big homo bombshell, a la Richard Chamberlain? Someone should write that."

There's is an incredible amount of bitterness and resentment. I haven't experienced, it but I saw how destructive it was/is in my dad and my grandmother's lives.

I LOVED The Neverending Story. That was a great movies. Movies now a days have nothing on the old classics.
