Challenge 18 - Home
If you could live anywhere, where would you and why?
If you would have asked me this a few months ago, I would have said "anywhere but here." I would have been talking about physical location. A place, an actual shelter that is labeled as one's "home," where one goes to be with the people he loves -- his family -- or somewhere to go when there is nowhere else to go. I saw FLAG as my home, the Knight Estate in particular, or to be even more precise: warehouse seven.
I hated it. I had no real family. The only "family" I had was my creator; he hated me, and I disliked him. I hated my home.
But now I've gone through different experiences that changed my view of home. I was liberated, and I distinctly remember KITT and Draco explaining to me the real concept of a home. "'Home' is not a place, Zephyr," KITT said to me. "It is a state of mind." I learned the difference between a home and a house.
My family is the people I love: KITT, Draco, Mike, Rakj'a... I have gained a real family, and my home is wherever they are. So why would I want to live anywhere else?
