Weekend Madness!
This weekend was epic! XD For those that want to hear about it, or if you are bored out of your rightful mind, be sure to read about my boring amazing weekend~!!!
Friday....
Summer school was brutal... our group messed up on the lab last minute, but we got the data from someone else just because the teacher was being very nice to us. We get our original teacher back tomorrow!! Yay! He was gone for a family reunion, so that is why. We are watching Gattaca tomorrow too! ^^ I definitely can't wait!
That was the "easy" part of my day on Friday. I work at the local pool for the summer as part of guest services. Well, it was raining this whole freaking week other than Saturday which I'll get to later. Rain rain, go away, come again another day... Yeah right -_-".... But before I went to work, I stopped by the park and saw this HUGE lake pond of water that filled up from earlier in the day. That was how strong the rain was. Anyways, I went to meet up with some friends before work, and we saw this cute cattle dog and her owner! It was so much fun! There was this throwing stick which she used that made it easier for her to throw balls and other objects for Luna (dog's name) to catch! It was great! For those that know me pretty well, I'm also a sucker for dogs too. They are so cute~ This one apparently didn't want me to go and followed me till I went into the parking lot. =/ I wanna play with the dog some more!
Now, back to the pool. I walked to work from the park. It took me roughly 15+ minutes or so. Gah, it was another easy part... till I got to work and only worked for one hour... then I ran back home before the rain began to pour. It was just awful. But I did get one hour done, meaning more money for me~ XD Only good thing about that day really lol
Saturday....
I waited for this day for a looonnngggg time! My friends and I went to Six Flags~!!!! w00t! We had a grand time! I mean, we went on Buccaneer Battle 3 times. Once was in the morning, second near the afternoon when it was lik 80 degrees, and once before the sun set which the weather started to feel chilly. That wasn't the most epic part of the day though!!! We went on Ragin' Bull (roller coaster for those that don't know) before the park closed, and we were the LAST CAR TO GO! Waah, it was epic! It was nighttime, so the sky was pitch black and you can clearly see the whole amusement park! I want to go again... maybe next month xD But for now, I'm satisfied.
Another funny part of Saturday was that during the day, my suprvisors from work called me twice lol Once was to ask me whether or not I could go to work and the second time was to remind me that I had work tomorrow. I was like... the last one was pointless, but the first one I really wanted to do the job, but I couldn't obviously since I was what... miles and miles away from home? lol I listened to the voicemail that they left me and I just couldn't help but laugh.
Last part of my Saturday was that I somehow slept at 2 AM in the morning... I absolutely do not now how or why I did that lol
Sunday.....
Today was rather interesting lol After waking up from my 6 hour sleep, I went straight online to talk to my friend about our Japanese studying session. I learned a few verbs and -masu form. It is the simple stuff still. Can't wait till I get to the hard stuff.... -_- Anyways, after that, I drove my mom to work, and stole the car to go to Mitsuwa (for those that do not know, it is a grocery store/bookstore/bakery/etc... all in one. I went to buy the Myojo June edition. =p For those that remember those amazing black and white pictures of HSJ, that was my reason for buying it. I was so glad I did!
After I left Mitsuwa, I got lost trying to find Borders in an area where I'm not familiar in. For short, I got lost. I get lost easily when it comes to driving.... I swear... there was NO Central Ave on Algonuin Road... >_> It took me about 2 hours and 30 mins round trip to get from my house, to Mitsuwa, to get lost, back to Mitsuwa, to Borders, and back home. It was fun I must say! But after I got home, I just read my biology book till I finish my homework and went to pick up my friend because we work the same shift.
At the pool today, it was so-so. Everything was just very slow moving since there was abosolutely no one in the pool past like 8:00 PM. So yeah, it was pretty boring for most of the day at work. I wish I spent that time looking for a gift for my dad. I can't think of one... x.x I mean, he mowed the lawn last week... his car definitely does not need fixing.... I can't cook dinner for him.... maybe I can practice a good piano piece and play it for him tomorrow since he is off. But I can't really do that either... I have work since I'm substituting for someone tomorrow lol T_T This never work out for me...
