And yet again Niki proves that she isn't the dumb bunneh she pretends to be

I've decided that I can't talk about what the buns can't do in front of them.  They listen.  I swear they do.

Case in point:
I was talking on the phone with someone about their cage setup and how I did it so that they have room to run, can't get out and yet it is easily accessible to the two leggers.  Yeah....Niki got out....  I got up in the morning to do the usual routine: potty, get dressed, check on bun's food and water/give buns love.  Niki is sitting in the doorway to their room waiting for me.  Literally WAITING FOR ME.  As soon as she sees me she runs up, partially sits on my foot and starts licking a toe.  I pick her up, give her love, tell her yes, you are a smart bunny, set her down and tell her to get her spiky fured butt back in the cage.  Yes, they do that when I tell them to.  She flips her head at me, happy for the love and priase and makes her way back into the cage, luckily the same way she got out.  I make modifications to the cage to ensure that it doesn't happen again, give them hay, kibble, water and more love and I'm off for the day slightly bemused by the fact that Niki appears to be smarter than most dogs I've run into.

Also, started lazily making cat toys out of plucked Niki fur.  All that fluff has to be good for something, right?  I've got fabric left over from....I don't remember what and my messy/rudimentary sewing skills are good enough for cat toys.  Not like a cat is going to care what it looks like.  Just that it smells like OMGCRITTER!!!!
