I didnt do a whole lot today other than jam on my bass. I have a few blisters on my right hand from finger picking and mainly from popping. Just practicing a riff over and over from the Primus song Fisticuffs did most of the damage. I can play that so fast now, too fast for the song but it sounds way better the faster I play it. I just jammed all day playing different songs I could remember or whatever parts I could play with only 3 strings. I was going to learn how to play Learning to Fly by Pink Floyd(my favorite song of theirs) but I only ended up learning the first riff or two because of the lack of 4 strings. Its cool though cause its catchy. I also found a different effects setup on my bass so I can get a deeper bass sound. Im not very good when it comes to figuring out how each knob on the bass and amp effects the overall sound. Hopefully the neighbors didnt get too pissed off when I had my amp turned up some. I quit when it started getting dark since thats usually when the noise level is much lower.
