There are other things important besides raw power. Is there really a point in trying to rule or destroy the city? Somehow I doubt this restoration will last long, anyway.

I would say things seem to be back to normal, but the city is just too empty. It's a little unsettling.
I hope no one has decided to take advantage of this in the wrong ways; it's not like they won't be able to track down stolen goods when the population does return.
