Ordinarily, today would mark the end of the month. But, thanks to leap year - or DC’s “New 52,” according to Thom Zahler - we get an extra day this month. A new work week begins. Is it a “bad” thing that I’m happy that it’s my short week?
The weekend was a good one. I talked with most of the family unit yesterday, everyone is doing well.

March winds
And April showers
Bring forth May flowers.
That’s the way I was taught.
I’m good with the “March winds.”
“April showers” are good too.
And, “May flowers?” Yep, I’m fine with them, as well.
It’s the whole “March intermittent rain and snow showers” thing that I’m taking issue with today.
