it was brilliant. moffat may be a bastard but he's also a genius. so's gatiss. god, i love them both. i can't make up my mind as to whether i adore or hate this casting for moriarty, but either way, the episode was great. had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. and god, i saw your tweets. the old lady dying killed me too. ;____;

"i'd be lost without my blogger" was gold, though. i can't stop thinking about how much i love that line to bits.

i'd read a spoiler beforehand that john was gonna have a bomb strapped to him, so i spent the entire episode going NO JOHN DON'T LEAVE SHERLOCK STAY WITH SHERLOCK ALL THE TIME NOOOO WHY DID YOU JUST LEAVE OH WAIT OKAY YOU'VE COME BACK, IT'S FINE-- NO WAIT YOU'RE LEAVING AGAIN NOOOOO, so basically when he said he was gonna go to sarah's near the end of the episode i was like, OKAY, THIS IS IT, HE'S GONNA HAVE A BOMB STRAPPED TO HIM, so when he walked out at the pool with that big coat on, i knew it had to be the bomb, so i wasn't too !!! about it. i did spent half the episode being totally paranoid that mrs hudson was moriarty though, for some reason. :|
