(no subject)
I continue to be all the busy this week, and will be like this through early August, but wanted to squee a little about my magazine. <3 Liminality has been open to submissions for a month and a half now, and ashlyme and I are really thrilled with how it's been going so far. It's amazing to see themes coalesce. I've been loving discovering the work of poets who are new to me as well as getting exciting stuff from some of the poets who were on our wishlist. :) I really, really can't wait to show this magazine to everyone.
Two more weeks to get your poems in!
Other than that - no fiction writing time this week, as we went straight from Readercon to friends in town and travel prep. I have an essay I'm hoping to write during travel time, and a poem that's burbling up in my brain, and Adam and I have a thing we're working on. :)
Life is very very busy, but besides That Stuff, it's all really good. A few people at Readercon who knew about the events of the prior week were happily surprised that I was joyful throughout the con - well, yes! That's the default state of me, when I am not acted upon by outside forces. May it continue to be so.
And next week is a full week of writing time, my first since April. Novel, you are goin' down.
