I have settled into an apartment, and am currently considering employment. My roommate is a man(?) named Lucius, with a bizarre attachment to a man referred to as Lord Raymond.
I don't like the way this is heading. I don't want to get lax and settle in. I want my memories. And I'm not willing to jump through hoops to get them. The mayor of the island is a young woman named Ari. She's survived for quite some time here, and from what I've heard not everyone here is as... polite as myself.
I wonder if she has any weaknesses.
I'd best not rush. There's no pressing need for me to attack; I do believe I shall scout around the wilderness a bit. See if I can uncover anything. The people here are friendly enough; no need to antagonize them just yet.

I'd like to extend my thanks to everyone who assisted me upon my arrival. Most of my immediate questions have been answered, though I'd like to sit down with one or two of you and discuss things at length if it's at all possible.
In the meantime, a somewhat trivial question presents itself: is there any particular reason why many of the people on this island are... I forget the name, but it's an ethnicity. Names that end in "-san", and so forth.
