[filtered away from the Anti-Spiral]
I'd like to apologize on behalf of the entity known as the Anti-Spiral. It is my belief that he- or it, if you prefer, is incapable of feeling emotions. He has no understanding of your grief nor your pain; do not take his- its comments to heart.
[private, unhackable]
Alas, before I could seize one of those missing fools' positions, another swooped in and took it from under my nose. My current occupation is vaguely amusing- I haven't killed any of the idiotic drunks yet, but I've placed many in the care of the clerics. A good workout, of course, but hardly suited to the task of amassing power. The position of the mayor's secretary would have been ideal, but...
Dear little mayor. I wonder what she knows.
The disappearances do seem to have riled the populace. I wonder what it would take to get them really upset... The Anti-Spiral is quite useful, I must say. The people are tense, distraught. The fuse is laid out- all I require is a match.
Perhaps it's only my imagination, but the disappearances seem to be occuring in waves. Monthly, it would seem. Quite the interesting harvest. There is no pattern to follow, the choices are random... But this is one mystery that can be solved, of that I am certain.
