Good news and Bad news
The good news is, we got a new mainboard for my PC.
Built it in yesterday and so far so good *knock on wood*
Even the ATI card (which I put back in because I fried mord's fav. GF4 card, Sorry Mord :( ) Works like it should without the weird stripes and poly errors. So... *takes a very deep breath* I will have to announce that ATI doesn't suck as much as I thought. Instead MSI was the guilty one.
So yeah that's the good news. let's hope it keeps up.
As for the bad news, my mom sent me a mail to tell me they got back from their vacation, but unfortunately crow went missing :(
He's been a part of our family for I dunno, probably about 18 years now. My dad rescued him when he was a young crow from being devoured by 2 cats.
We never wingclipped him because we intended to let him go as soon as he had restored his health and feathers.
We did just that but he's stuck around ever since. He's a bit of a nut and I doubt he'd stand much of a chance on his own out there :/
I feel so helpless being all the way over here. Can't go look for him. Can't do anything :'(
I was afraid of it and even kinda expected it though.
My brothers have never been very competent when it comes to taking care of our pets while my parents are gone :/
I can remember many vacations when I was young and had to go with my parents while my brothers 'd stay home to take care of stuff. Pets went missing a lot :/
I can also remember the rage I'd feel when I'd get back just to hear something'd "gone missing" again. I'd forgotten about that feeling. But I can remember it very clearly again now...
