I tried to make waffles today. I would leave it at that, but you're all unaware of my complete culinary ineptness. Firstly, I actually managed to whisk the egg whites without messing them up, which completely surprised me. And the mixture seems okay, but the waffles keep sticking to the waffle machine/appliance thingy. So, going on the word of my

Just eat the waffle mixture.

I always liked *that* better than the waffles themselves.

Alternatively, you could try to unstick the waffles from the plate with a thin skewer. Slip it in the grooves from the side. Some bit of waffle may still stick, but it'll probably be a lot less. This brought to you by someone who only watched her mum make waffles, of course :-).
