Laptop's Back!
I missed my laptop so much. I haven't seen its screen since April, when it broke, and it took only a couple days to fix AND send back to me. After looking at my shitty old monitor screen for a couple months, this screen looks phenomenal. So what have I missed?
Last Conclave was pretty good. You know you're getting old when you can get a ride anywhere on campus without anyone even caring. Or in Hardy's case, not even being aware that you can't drive. Oopsies.
Working now Monday mornings, and 12-9 on Thursdays and Fridays. We had a big tourney today so I shuttled people up and down the driveway for 5 hours, and made $110 in tips, which I had to split with the other workers so I went home with $40. Still a good day, and I almost made the news because I waved at the Fox25 cameraman, who apparently wasn't filming a story, but just the parking lot. Well it was almost cool.
Fantasy baseball is kicking ass, not that you care. But it gives me a reason to pay attention to more baseball, so I enjoy it. Baseball kicks ass.
Happy birthday to Stergios (spelling? oh wait, don't care. get an American name, ass), who's now officially at "creepy-old age". At least the baldness is becoming more respectable (explainable?) with each passing year.
Six more weeks before Year III of the Duke Expedition commences, so let's do some shit, eh?
The Big News of the post:
FRIDAY, AUGUST 12TH THROUGH SUNDAY AUGUST 14TH will be the year-end blowout party in New Hampshire. Anyone who can read this is invited to RSVP with me as soon as possible. Come for Friday and Saturday nights, come for one, I don't care. Partying will commence Friday, hopefully as early as 8-9 if I can get out of work. Partying will end Sunday afternoon 'cause I'm leaving that night. Come one, come all, I'd love for everyone to be there, with a few rules. The specific rules will be posted next time, but here's Rule #1:
No Drama is allowed. Anyone (read: ANYONE) involved in said drama will be asked (read: TOLD) to leave. If you can't handle partying with other people, then don't come. That said, I'll try to post an RSVP list as it comes to me so you can tell who's going to be there. With THAT said, I hope everyone can come, but I understand that you people can't all get along.
