I got my stitches out, and thanks for all those who replied about whether it would hurt or not. The first stitch didn't really hurt, but felt wierd under the skin and all that stuff. The other two, however, hurt like H-E-double-toothpicks. It would seem that I am a rather fast healer, and so two of the stitches had scabbed over, which means the doctor had to really yank with tweezers, then his hand, THEN he left and got a big clamp and pulled for awhile with that to get them out. I, personally would have rather just left the stitches in, or take the finger off - I mean, it still looks all icky and will probably take awhile to heal, so why not just get rid of it - maybe get a cool prosthetic or something, like a finger that shoots laser beams, or maybe a drink dispenser or something. Hmmm.
Other than that, things have been going pretty well. It's nice to have practice time and homework time.
I think there were other things that I was going to discuss, but I'm not sure what they were, so I guess I won't discuss them. But it wouldn't be much of a discussion, since it's one side (aside from comments, which are always appreciated) more of a lecture or speech I suppose.
