on moderation
Here is something that is a pet peeve of mine.
You use a service. It has a "Terms of Service" that mentions that the service is moderated.
Someone posts something to this service that violates this terms of service and it is removed by a moderator.
What does this person do? They complain that OTHER people who have violated the terms of service have NOT had their content removed, and conclude that the moderators must think that those other people's content is okay. They then conclude their content should not have been removed.
This is asinine. If you fuck up, and tells you what they'll do if you fuck up, and then you fuck up, and they take that action, it's all on you.
