*fuming*

So.  I went to Andy's house to hang out and whatnot on Sat., and came home to find that 4 of my roommates had eaten my entire 9x13 pan of brownies. (I'd had 3 pieces before I'd left).

I made another batch of brownies, and put a note on them asking that everyone only eat one (after I realized that it was about 1/3 gone already).  That worked until day two, and I slowly enjoyed my brownie goodness.  Then I removed the cover to find that someone had helped themselves to another big hunk, despite the sign on it.

I made a cake last night saying it'd be for the apartment to celebrate two of my roomies getting into their programs.  I got up this morning to find someone had helped themselves to a piece.  Not only that, they didn't even bother to cover it! Things dry out really, really fast here, and you have to cover them.  Not only that, but it was for the apartment-- implicit in that, I thought, was that we'd eat it together when everyone got home.  I hadn't even frosted it! And I can't frost it now or it'll look really funny.

I've always told them that they're welcome to enjoy what I bake, but it's gotten to the point that I don't get enjoy what I eat because they'll inhale it all without having the common courtesy to save me a piece.  My massive amounts of cookie dough I put in the freezer for stress relief?  They went through it in a week, and, despite my clear requests, didn't bother to tell they'd eaten it all, so when I went to get some... there wasn't anything left.  That they ate it I don't mind--though I'd like to point out a batch normally lasts me a month and a half--but the fact that, after I specifically asked when i noticed they'd started in on the second container, they didn't bother to tell me they'd eaten it all...!

I'm starting to get a wee bit peeved.  I mean, they can all eat cake mixes and things like that.  I can't. I have to make it from scratch.  So them pigging out on my food without bothering to leave me any--when they know they've got their own materials to make the same thing--does not a happy roommate make.  I mean, they're welcome to eat some, but I've said that to 15 different roommates and this is the first semester I've come home from class to find that the food I'd baked before class for me to eat after class had already been eaten. *twitch*

And "please leave alone" signs aren't even always followed.  I'm a bit miffed over the entire affair.

appalled, upset, disgusted
