i've got nothing to regret. except, all of the times we wasted giving only second best.

today has been a really great day
in that it was unusual and different than most of my days have been lately
i had to get up super early today to go and babysit ben and max for the
last time this summer.
Ben decided to "leave messages" on my phone to random people (he is 4)
and somehow ended up recording my voice mail thing for me.
its actually really cute.
i might leave it there for a while just becasue i love
his sweet little voice and the fact that he says
"we are having a lemonade stand this day" on it. as if he's advertising or something.
(their stand made like 6 bucks today!)

did some power shopping at the mall.
ended up with a babydoll dress that makes me feel fresh and new.
i like new clothes for this reason.
there aren't any memories attached to them yet.
so it feels like a fresh start. (it is!)

these past few days have been in a strange sort of fog for me
(like my brain is all wrapped up in a blanket or something.
i haven't quite gotten it off yet either. i need to sleep it off)
and figuring out what really happened and what happenend in my mind
is becoming harder and harder.
(which means its about time to stop for a long time)

more than anything lately, i have been
enjoying people chillin in my room with me.
and the gorillaz.
i've been listening to them non-stop

i've been so into art lately i can't even tell you.
i've been totally inspired to do this one piece forever, like i could clearly
see it in my head.
so i started working on it a couple weeks ago.
i finished it tonight.
and its weird, but i don't feel that accomplished feeling like i normally do....
maybe its not really done.
i bet thats it.

today the first little sign of sadness crept up on me
while i was listening to a song.
but it went away really fast.
and rightfully so.
enough is enough.
i'm done with teen angst bullshit.
no regrets.
(thank god)

school is becoming less and less ominous to me
i hope that you all are feeling the same way too.
ever since i got my art situation straightened out,
i have been so much happier.
what i mean is, i have been debating all summer
between taking 3-D art at CASA, or 2-D art there.
i finally made a decision and decided on 3-D and got it changed.
it must have been the right one, because i am looking forward to it so much more.
part of me is excited for the whole school experience.
my mom is taking me "school shopping" on saturday.
which i find adorable and i'm really excited about everything.

i love everything pretty much.

until next time,
madeleinte
