I bought a pair of rimless before, they were ok, but not amazing. only cost around £30 with lightweight lenses though.
My guess is that plastic frames will have less scope to be flimsy. The online shops seem to have a lot of frame measurements available, but I do require quite narrow frames.
I am thinking it would only be worth your while if you could find exactly the same frames you had tried on in the shop and knew they wouldn't need a load of tweaking to sit comfortably.
It IS a great saving but if you have astigmatism and a wee head like me you really do run the risk of uncomfy glasses you can't see out of.
Bolder, plastic frames do rock though, I am so glad I made the change!
I do not wrath, I just look disappointed and disgusted. But then again, I will also probably fit your cheap internetty glasses cos I can't stand squint glasses. Do not blame me for your indecision lass.

Personally, I wouldn't buy glasses online (much the same as shoes or bras) since fit is so important, but then again that *is* quite a saving!

Dailies are much better than monthlies as my eyes tend to start to put a layer of protein down within minutes, must give them another try.
