I tripped, fell, got slashed and sliced but stood tall with..integrity..

I walked into the toilet cubicle for some private minutes to recompose myself even though I was not crying..and I saw my campaign flyer behind the door, gently removed it..that piece of paper definitely served an ornamental existence.

I touch my heart and I'll say this: the recent turn of events has been exciting..

"MY FIST AND YOUR FACE WILL BECOME FRIENDS IF YOU VOTE FOR SHER-REEN"

Today someone showed me a ribbon that had that exact text written on it, and apparently that was a milder version of what some others had read. It sort of did throw me into a messed up state, I was shaken for a little while.

Principles be principles- I believed in holding on to that. What I said during my speech was apparently effective but simply not enough to win over already-decided voters. I didn't bother with being a bitch in front of the audience- that would've been unneccesary and ugly. Politics is a nasty ball game, but it's always good to stay true to principles and value to some extent at the least.

"So cast your vote for the candidate you think is best suited for the job. It's a story about fitting into the glass slipper. If you think I'm the Cinderella for the job, VOTE ME."

And so I didn't get it..it'll hurt for awhile. But what's life without bruises?
Special thank yous to my beloved Beta B's- am I blessed to have met you or what? And Sara, your pretty nifty artwork was a dream come true in such a short time. The SC, for giving me a short-lived second chance..Mmilidzi and Tricia, your support and encouragement exceeds the worth of my words of gratitude. Mitch, thank YOU. And everyone I've confided in and sought reassurance from, you are diamonds.

I made one major error in this run for the Student Council Committee- and I know what it is. But it's through bad decisions that we learn to make better ones in the future. Just got off the phone with a good friend, he reminded me of that.

p.s: Simple Plan- Still Not Getting Any...Tour was not a bad concert except it was sad how jakun Malaysians can be..

p.p.s: Suraiya was being funny today when she tricked us into believing Ms Jaslinder, our Biology lecturer, was not going to come today..we literally SCREAMED when she told us, everyone was jumping because we wanted breakfast. And then she went "April Fools!" but shortly after..

"Unable to make it for your 8am class today. Please tell the rest. If they want to stay in class they can, but just don't make so much noise. Get back to me when you've let them know."

That text message beeped on Su's phone. And it was an unknown sender. Ms Jaslinder REALLY called in sick. We called to verify and even sms-ed "Get Well Soon" via Shea Kang. So much for a prank. *shrug*
