Memoirs of a Summer School
for Joshua
We fluttered our wings in summer skies,
We spread our wings and soared so high,
We hit the peak and without a sigh,
We opened our hearts, you saw me cry,
The sea tempest raged but we got by,
The midnight chill, the hearty laughs,
Is now about to be embedded in the past,
But eternalised is each scintillating memory,
For your imprint was deep-it'll last for eternity,
We took on the challenge, we've now made it through,
So comes our time to bid adieu.

Note: It's been three weeks since we parted..yet it feels like months. I coined this poem up on Graduation Day, during my International Relations class. The words just came, and the pen magically whipped up the words. An attempt to capture in words, the many things we were put through. Truly, that was not goodbye. Memories live on.
A little update, Andrea and I met up with Rohan at Suria KLCC on Wednesday, the 5th of January for a bite at Chilli's..and with Zheng Xi yesterday, January 8th for The Phantom of The Opera, lunch at TGI Friday's and a French manicure at 1 Utama's Missy Nails.
