My Mom sent me an e-mail today included the line "It would be okay if you wrote to me. It's the American way.  Enough people complain, loudly, and things change!  I had e-mailed the assistant in my class after receiving a grade I felt I did not deserve, explaining that I found my article review to be "intelligent and insightful."  I was not the only one.  Now we have a makeup assignment that can replace the previous one.  Ha HA ( Read more... )

I finished my letter of resignation for aforementioned church job and will mail it tomorrow.  I'm feeling better about it now that it will be final.  I've always liked writing this kind of thing - letters of resignation, breakup letters; for some reason I'm good at them.
