Surprise!
The doorknob started turning. Nobody knocked, and the dog was
barking. And in walked N-, who wasn't supposed to come home until
tomorrow! Hooray for me!
Yesterday, springsea came over. I tried a Martha Stewart recipe, and you know what, I know better. I ended up making mashed potatoes to fill in the blanks. We picked out one vegan brownies recipe to try, and it made a really great... chocolate cake. Not the fudgy dense brownies we have both had and can't seem to replicate. I'm trying another one tonight that has egg replacer and applesauce, and I'm hopeful! Sure smells good, although the batter was very fruity.
I need to learn more about tarot. Yes indeed. And how it connects to other things.
I am enjoying my lovies from Lush. I have rock star soap, figs and leaves soap, and silky underwear. Woo!
I had a successful presentation for a team project at work today. We had a lot of people attend the presentations who were not involved, so that was strange. But our team did really well. I simply must say, while I groaned during the action plans and mission statements, they have helped me IRL. Go figure.
Wrote a letter to my sis, but the way things are going, she won't get my Valentines Day card until St. Patrick's Day. I simply cannot figure it out.
