(no subject)
I actually left work somewhat on time today. I decided before going to work that today I would learn to manage my stress. I'm not sure if it is that decision or the actual stress that made everything better, but today was a good day.
I'm actually still "at work," but I got off at 3. I'm working on html stuff for my class.
I had a crazy dream last night. First I dreamed that I got my order from BPAL, so I'm wondering if I'm psychic and I'll get home and it will be on my doorstep. Here's to hoping!! It was weird though, because they only gave me half of what I asked for, and the ones I had asked for and got I didn't like, but the ones they gave me that I hadn't asked for I loved. So maybe that means they'll stick in some nice samples. :)
Then in my dream I was singing backup for Simon & Garfunkel, with Dar Williams. Then we sang this song with their bird, but the bird hurt his leg. Garfunkel was so upset that he kept going through the songlist and shaking his head, and finally said we should sing Dar's songs instead. So I was up on stage singing "The Christians and the Pagans," and I was off-key. :)
I'm really getting excited about this whole ALA SC thing. I've started lining up speakers for our very own Brown Bag series. Stay tuned, I think it's a good one.
