Problem with AE orders

Hi,

i've placed an order on Dec 07 with american eagle through international shipping but it has yet to arrive after mid Jan 08. they classified it as a missing parcel thus have refunded me after multiple idd calls. but they didnt refund the shipping fees of usd60.

again, i opened 2 batches of AE spree but its been almost 2 weeks after shipment but ( Read more... )

im experiencing the same problem too. i dont know whats wrong. i dont know if its usps fault or singpost fault. why did AE refund u the shipping cost? it wasnt ur fault right.

ive tried calling usps too. n they said that only AE can call them to raise an investigation on the lost parcel.

pls let me know if u have any updates.

hi dear,

i feel that they shld ahve refunded shipping too. but i was so sick of making the calls..waiting and waiting on the line and they dont exactly give me a satisfactory explanation.
i busted 2 IDD cards just to settle the issue :(

wanna cry already, other than all the extra trouble, refunding spreers is tiring too!

AE will be conducting an investigation and i hope they're genuinely doing so. Its crazy losing 3 parcels. They're like profitting on our intl shipping charges or something.

And, i suggest all other organisers use VPOSTUSA for now..

will keep all posted of this mess. its frustrating and worrying! :(

sigh, i guess i will call them too, give them some pressure!

i think such things didnt happened before, all the way till last dec. what luck!

i had the same problem as well with my past 2 ae orders. It was a result of their computer/packing personnel printing/putting down the wrong address in both cases when I opted for international shipping, and during the first case, when I finally received the parcel after 2 months - I noticed weird cancellations on the sticker which had my address - apparently the person keyed in "Senegal(!!!)" under the country, while the second time, my address was half correct. My unit number wasn't keyed in at all, so my parcel was held back at customs. I spent 2 months worrying as part of the order was a friend's friend. I wonder what's up with their packing/warehouse system these days!

oh lord, this is sick man!

when did u place order dear? you're so lucky the parcel found its way to you!
how did the custom locate you without having ur full address on the parcel?

my parcel has been missing for 2 months. and for the current 2 batches, i doubt its ever going to arrive. sigh!

i cant imagine if my parcel ends up in africa or some other continent and it'll totally benefit the lucky person who received it. at our misfortune :(

but thanks for sharing dear, that least i know its AE that screwed up. gonna demand for shipping fees back. thats when i've more money to buy IDD cards O_o

Ayy, maybe can call up PO headquarts and ask if there's any package address to your name/your street with incomplete address. Sometimes, with incomplete addy, they may send back if instructed to 'return to sender upon unsuccessful delivery'.. Something like that.

But even if the address was wrong or incomplete, PO would have the status updated. No?

wats the difference between Vpost and intl shipping?

intl shipping would be directly to ur hse.
vpost, means that from the merchant, it is send to a base ground located in US. Then through there, vpost would send the item to Singapore & to ur hse.

I ordered 2 batches via vpost recently. All working as per normal. Gosh maybe you guys should complain and ask for compensation. After all, we have the choice of choosing vpost or international but decided to choose international because of its so called speedy delivery yet this happens.

Oh no...my same case as urs. Shipped ard 16Jan
I tot is was normal..i did e-mail AE, but all they ever reply was the status that was given on the USPS website.

Is this a case of lost mail?

the status you see on AE tracking page will never update after departure from chicago..

U mean, even if the parcel reaches a certain place, they will nt update?
Then there is really no way to track the parcel...even if it is now at some ulu island..
