Fourth of July kicked ass.
We were definitely more prepared than last year, actually we were a little too prepared. We had so much left over food its not even funny. But we brought it all this year, from hot dogs and burgers to some Italian sausage and salmon, it was delicious. We were planning to cook fish from the channel but we never caught anything all day. Early morning surf sesh was sick, even though i couldnt tell the water line from the fog haha. It was all good though i caught a few waves, one was almost head high. Pretty much just chilled the rest of the day fishing, cooking food, and drinking beers. The bonfire was tight though we put a fat log in the middle and pretty much piled everything else on top. We missed a few people though, definitely wished you guys could have been there. But it was good nonetheless and i wouldnt have changed any of it.
Other than that im doing pretty good. Getting my life on track after slumping for the past few months feels good. I start my new job on monday and i cant wait. I guess ive technically already started since ive been out marketing for new jobs but the actual job starts monday. And i cant belive im saying this but i want school to start. im ready to get back since i actually did good this last semester and i want to do it again.
