Story about Patrick Sheppard missing John
Hello, I'm looking for a fanfic I read quite recently, on ao3, I think.
It was quite short and about Patrick and David Sheppard, I don't think that John or anyone else from Atlantis featured in person.
It started with Patrick getting a letter about John being MIA in the Air Force, and he insists that this means John is dead. He grieves in his own way by putting a picture of John on his desk, and feels guilty. Later, he gets a letter that John is fine and puts the picture down again.
David expects John to visit them and at least confirm he's alive, but John doesn't and Dave is angry at him.
I guess this is a snipped set in the time before John went to Atlantis, but I'm not sure as I don't think there was a lot of background information.
