Countdown to rewatch!!
I'll be making the first post in slightly more than 23 hours. It'll be right before 10PM, USA's EST. I am so excited. I've been looking forward to this happening since I watched the last episode. It's been so hard to hold off. I didn't say it before, but it the rewatch will start with the Pilot episode, and move forward from there, one episode at a time. It'll take almost two years to finish, but I'm looking forward to that, too.
I hope people will bear with me, as this is the first time I've ever done anything like this. I've never even participated in a rewatch before, let alone led one.
I'll make a post, with a synopsis of the episode, and people comment to that in any way they see fit - make stream of consciousness replies throughout the episode, do one massive post at the end, or anything in between. I figure people will be watching and replying to the initial post all week, as their TV watching schedule permits, so check back at different times of the week to catch everything, if you can.
As to the poll, I won't be doing one. The discussion about it was very interesting, and I appreciate everyone's thoughtful and controlled replies, as well as alternate suggestions. Chalk it up to my limited experience, and trying too hard to add something extra to the rewatch. Too hard, because obviously this is a community that doesn't need anything extra to be excited about watching their favorite show *g* Also, not thinking it through enough, either, as the last thing I'd ever want to be is exclusionary. So, my apologies for doing something that came across that way. I want everyone to feel free to join in and have fun.
