I also love the story and the way that the characters are portrayed. Its is a sweet story. I think that the characters a true to the way that I feel they come over in the show. I also like the John as big brother to Rodney as that is the way that I have always seen him.
The ending is so sweet too and soooo Rodney. The only problem is that the link for blue-green nebula seems to be broken as the page wasn't found.
But apart from that it was a sweet story. Thanks.

While I definitely ship them too, the thing I've always loved about John and Rodney are their strong, strong friendship that shines through everything. I really wanted to have John be Rodney's advocate, and I'm glad that came through! Thanks again.

And John watching out for Rodney is love. ♥
I really like how you dealt with the does-Jennifer-like-him-the-way-he-is-or-does-she-want-to-change-him question(an issue that has been, um, troubling fandom). The question is really, 'does Rodney like himself the way he is,' and the answer is yes, most of the time--and therefore so does Jennifer. She wants him to be happy. What a lovely give and take they have ( ... )

Your comments made my day when I read then at first, and still do (I've gone back to read them again and again!); I also think I'd love to write more about that room, it was really fun to dream up! Thanks again for your request and your kind words!

This was a perfect line! It's the question we McSheppers are asking, although I have to admit that I do like Keller and I like McKeller too (shh... don't tell anyone...). Given Keller's potted history in an earlier episode, when she talked about skipping years and being a child prodigy, I can see them having a shared background and understanding. That you allowed Sheppard to care too was just cool.
Also the finding of a magical hologram/lab was beautiful. All in all, I really liked this - thank you.

There's a small club of us! *cheers* Seriously, though, I wanted to keep the spirit of what the show was trying to do with them but to show that little bit extra. Thanks so much for letting me know you liked it, and I totally agree with you: there's a lot the two of them have in common.

This exchange:
“Are you happy the way you are?”
...
“Most of the time,” Rodney said truthfully.
“Then, I like you the way you are-” Jennifer responded, sliding her free hand into his. “Most of the time.”
was perfect and made me laugh. That's true of all relationships, I think. :)
