Four months' worth of recs (with a wee bit of fic)
If I could just get some of my writing mojo back, the "monthly review" tag wouldn't be so pathetic. Sigh.
This covers September-December: a bit of fic, plenty of recs (although not as many as past years), and the sg1friendathon.
There was a great round of the sg1friendathon this year, running the entire month of October. You can browse the 2013 SG-1 Friendathon master list as well as the 2013 Ficathon Frenzy master list, which didn't have a minimum word count or claiming requirement. My own contribution was Left Unspoken, a Jack and Daniel five things.
Then, just last week, I begged for prompts out of sheer desperation to write something. :) The result was Quadrigenti, a series of unrelated ficlets of exactly 400 words each. Lots of team fluff, a bit of Teal'c introspection, Siler and Hammond, a Daniel/Sha're Abydos slice of life, and two more serious episode tags. You'll find all eight of them with the Quadrigenti tag.
Even though I couldn't manage much writing, I have still been reccing!:) You all know the drill by now: they were recced at stargateficrec and archived at figs_sg1_rec. The Master List of Fic Recs is updated through November, and I hope to get this year's final recs included there shortly.
