Daniel said that wasn’t actually exotic and asked if she wouldn’t prefer something with flashing neon lights.

She might have, but he’d already explained that it went on the floor and got stepped on, and that just wouldn’t make sense.

1. Vagisil. Tight leather pants do not breathe well. Breeding ground for all sorts of nasty things. A girl can get an itch she just CAN'T scratch. That's why there are feminine care products.

2. An IUD. Primitive contraceptives pasted on fluffy vegetation are not fool proof and are messy to use...and not particularly sanitary. See # 1 above.

3. Dry cleaning. Do you have any idea what those leather bits must have stunk like?

4. A visit to a proper spa. Not only did she need to de-toxify her tissues from residual naquadah poisoning... yes heavy metals do hurt when you don't have a symbiote to keep up with things...but she had to clean her pores deep down if you get the picture.

5. Ginsu knives. They can cut anything. And they're only $19.95 but wait there's more! She's still waiting to find out what that might be. And hoping.

Practical choices! I especially like the idea that the naquadah in her blood gives her the feeling of needing a deep-down detox and cleansing, that's cool.
