Today was another shopping day. It was spent walking around the
various shopping districts that contained export-grade clothing.
I was able to procure one shirt that wasn't offensive, but my sister
found many things that she liked.

Consumer Internet connections in Asia beat the hell out of anything you can get in North America. Back when I lived in HK, it was about HK$200/mo (= US$25) for a 3mbit/512kbit line. I pay US$50/mo now for 1.5mbit/384kbit. What the hell is that? :/

Many commodities are very cheap here. But many people that I'm visiting don't seem to have Internet connexions at home. Right now, I'm sitting at an aunt's place using theirs.
