Housewarming party

I'm catching up on things I ought to have done. One of these things is to throw a party celebrating the fact that my apartment is unpacked and tidy and ready for living in. But you know, this thing comes up, and that thing needs to be dealt with, and soon it's almost a year since I moved in.

And I still don't have enough bookshelving!

Nevermind that, though. I'm going to invite you to my place anyway. I call it The Conservatory. Read into that as much as you'd like.

Since my house is already quite warm, I think we should do Montréal a favour. This week is going to see snow, but we've already had enough of that. So we'll be partying to drive away winter.

Someone suggested that I stay out of the kitchen this time, but that's quite difficult to do. Still, we shall try by having a potluck dinner. Please feel free to bring a favourite dish or drink that you'd like to share.
