Summary: Ray thinks this is stupid.
Disclaimer: I do not own Generation Kill. This is a work of fiction inspired by the fictional portrayal of the actual events. No harm intended.
Ray’s got his clothes laid out all over the bed - threadbare tee and tight black jeans, pirate hat with what could be a bullet hole, all clothes he spent ten minutes thrifting for because Walt made promises involving his tongue and he can’t say no to - and is staring at them, standing in nothing but the thin towel around his waist.
“This is really stupid,” Ray says when he hears Walt pad into the room. He folds his arms over his chest and doesn’t care that his towel falls down, shooting Walt a dark look. “Costume parties are for pussies. What are we even trying to win?”
“Fuck if I know,” Walt says. He moves closer, bumping Ray’s shoulder before picking up the jeans and looking at them. “But I’ll blow you if you put these on.”
Ray gives Walt a pointed look, gesturing with one hand that he’s standing here naked, but Walt ignores him. He snatches his jeans out of Walt’s hands and makes a frustrated sound. “It better be a fuck awesome blow job.”
“Aren’t they always?” Walt asks with a cheeky little grin and it’s Ray’s turn to shove him. “You know I’m right,” Walt adds and Ray just tugs his jeans on with a huff, because it’s better than agreeing and giving Walt the satisfaction of knowing it.
