WTF
The weekend came and went and it's Wednesday already. IT went fine, D took me to my favorite pizza place and then to see X-Men 3. The movie wasn't complete ass, at least.
We also went to the book store, as usual, and as I was perusing the magazine rack, something in me made a decision. I am definitely going to look into hitting college. It's not just "a neat idea". I've gotten some materials from APSU in the mail, and am going to work on figuring out what I need to apply next year. I'm going to shoot for next fall. That gives me about a year to get my ass in gear and settle some prerequisites. One big one is "uh, how am I going to GET to campus?". Yeah. Not looking forward to that one. I don't wanna driiiiiiiiiiiiiive /whine.
I'll figure it out. Somehow. ;)
On the other hand of life, I've taken up studying Japanese. Language studies are so interesting. Specifically foreign languages. A culture's language is a direct reflection of how that culture thinks, and I never really realized that before. It's easy to get caught up in the simple thought of just translating words. If I can succeed at actually speaking/conversing, I'm going to try tackling kanji. A certainly masochistic effort, indeed.
