I'm writing from L. Bone's computer. She is reading on her bed (half on, half off). She is a lovely cat from what I can tell. I listened through Californiacation in the bakery today. It's a wonderful album, and I can't wait to recieve, "Funky Monks," a 1hr. first-hand documentry on the making of "Blood Sex Sugar Magik" by the RHCPs...produced by motha fuckin' Rick Rubin..and engineered by Brenden O'Brian. L. Bone and I bought it on amazon--our first joint purchase that I can remember. I'll get the film on Mon, Tues, Wed, L. Bone will get it on Thurs, Fri, and Sat, we'll alternate every other Sunday. Sounds fare? I hope so.
Talked to Stonich earlier. Sounds like we might be putting together a seattle-based metal band just for the summer. We're shooting for a sweet 1/2 hr. set, and then we'll gig it up everywhere. At least, that's the plan. I have absolutley no idea what James is up to, so we'll likely need a good metal/hard rock drummer--keep your eyes and ears open for one, and post some suggestions.
Marianas finished recording a 5 song demo tape (about 1/2hr. long) in a smelly dark basement. I'll put the like up when it's mixed. (I may or may not be the mixer on this one).
