so, the party was a smashing success. there were hitches, yes, but i'm so smooth that people didnt notice.
apparently, friday night is a terrible time to have a party, but i say screw yall coz it worked out fine (despite lack of token black guy/gay guy, boyfriend, and ?girlfriend?)
we didnt bowl. instead, we watched movies. introduced the wonders of palahniuk to nira and angi. introduced the wonders of moulin rouge to greg, kels, and nira. the look on greg's face was absolutely priceless.
also, decided garden state sucks. sorry andrya, maybe it was just too late and we didn't get it, but it didnt have the slightest hint of a plot and the guy got on our nerves.
we also decided clerks wasn't worth the dvd it came on. some of us found it funny, in that napoleon dynamite/monty python sort of way.
and i won that bet with greg. consider me $100 richer. (greg and i bet he couldnt talk about movies for a month.) in the middle of his spiel about fight club, i attacked him with "YOU OWE ME MONEY NOW! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" and then we set up a payment plan. not really, im not gonna hold him to it. but it was amusing. especially since when we made the bet, i told him he wouldn't survive until my party. i won the bet about an hour before the party officially began.
i have friday night off from work. anyone wanna chill? i got it off so i could go to the MSI concert up in tampa. anyone wanna go to that? or we can just go downtown. cmon folks, first weekend off that i dont already have something planned.
...i wonder why it is that i stay in touch, i stay friends with, my exes, but their currents always hate me, therefore making me not able to hang out with them. cases in point: inviting sep to the party, TALKING to tim in person (he cant ever talk, as shellie is always attacking his lips when i come near for fear of me stealing him away? i dunno.), and having dj's now-exgirlfriend block me from his buddylist without his knowledge until recently.
to sum everything up, work is lovely, school is lovely, band is lovely, life is lovely.
