Good afternoon world
Well, it has been a relaxing weekend here in Swindon. It was a fairly busy week at work doing stuff (more organised stuff than I've been doing before and no real need to rant about anything so I won't!) then across to Swindon for beer and pizza. There was a perfectly good excuse to drink beer, talk rubbish, then eat food, so I did, before heading back to crash out watching the Mighty Boosh.
Saturday there was a trip back to Reading to have a look at a flat. To buy, for money (well, money from a building society that they would want me to give back), scary grown-up stuff. More on that at a later stage once I've spoken with the estate agent people again.
Back in Swindon for Doctor Who (yay, the Daleks live up to their well deserved reputation, it's good they arrived in 1930s New York, not 1930s Germany or Austria, that would have been a little more disturbing), food, and then watching Harold and Maude. Never seen it before, highly recommended if you like quirky, slightly death-obsessed humour, and there's a good chance you might if you are reading this :)
Today, lazy start, talking about bathrooms and decorating, then baking cakes. Yes, this doesn't really sound like the SG you know. So, to prove it is me I'll leave you with this little gem.
