What I did and thought today
Today I continued my Norman Rockwell painting. It's my final project for my painting class. We are suppose to reference an artist and Norman was my artist! I love the guy!
I am painting my sister's family sitting at the dinner table. It's going to be a really hard painting because it's on a really big canvas and I have to paint people, angles, and geometric shapes. But so far I am enjoying every minute of it. I was pretending I was Rockwell painting a cover for The Saturday Evening Post. It was a really great feeling. Gosh, I hope I can be a great artist someday. However, my skills are still very beginner. And I will not be able to copy every detail and expression the way Rockwell did.
There is a womans cycling team that I am hoping to join. I got invited to a meeting this Friday. I hope I can get out of work to go. :( I really want to get buckled down with cycling. And my heart is calling for a new shiny red road bike. :( No, i DON'T have enough bikes!!!!
I also learned that I love Kayaking!!! And I love the water!!!!
