- Over the weekend, I watched The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, which was a good movie albeit a bit short. I'm not sure what I expected from the film and I certainly wasn't unimpressed by any aspects of the production yet as the credits rolled I merely shrugged as opposed to having tears well in my eyes as maybe I had expected they would. It is an incredible story, and made even more incredible by its having even been written in the first place and then translated into film, but somehow it failed to resonate with me and for that I cannot explain. Maybe I should re-visit the movie when I'm in a more emotional, sympathetic movie.
- Similarly, I saw The Incredible Hulk this weekend, and it didn't do much for me either. There was nothing I disliked about the film, but nothing "incredible" about it either, as the title would suggest. It was average, although not painfully so.
- Can we cool it with the LOLcats, please? Thank you.
- I will be voting for Obama this November, but can anyone properly explain to me why I should be so, so, so excited about him? Or how the country is going to change in a way that it's really going to affect me if we elect this guy over any other Democrat? I very happy that people are excited for...oh forget it. I guess I'll have to wait and see how things will or will not change once he's elected.
