Did you dye your hair?
Yes, don't adjust your screens, it's a little blonder than it used to be. Strangely enough, hardly anyone had noticed when I first did it and now, a month after the fact, I'm getting a myriad of comments about it.
What's it like being a twin?
I could very well ask you, what's it like NOT being a twin?
Where do you work again?
Barnie's Coffee and Tea Company at the good 'ol Gulf View Square Mall. Being that I'm in college during the week I'm only there Fri-Sunday, but you can catch me there most of those days, on the grind (pun intended).
Hey yeah - how do you go to college in Tampa and work in New Port Richey? Do you commute?
Worse - I live in one of the dorms there and head back by way of my Father, who happens to work at the Moffit Cancer Center at the school.
Doesn't that all make you miserable?
Yes!
Why don't you do anything about it? Meet People?
Meeting people is a wasteful excursion. Like Kafka, I am disgusted by certian aspects of sociality, and there's nothing that makes me more uncomfortable than going to parties or get-togethers and mingling with a bunch of people I don't know (who are most likely drinking and smoking). I'd rather not meet people at all than to bond while we're all showing off the worst of ourselves.
That being said, I actually don't mind college and work so much, as most of my depression is of a chemical origin.
Why don't you make comics as much as you used to?
Time and inspiration! I have higher standards than before when I'd just take a dump on paper, scan it and post it on LJ. Plus, after reading the good stuff by the likes of Chris Ware, Adrian Tomine, Craig Thompson and, of course, Daniel Clowes and R. Crumb - I kind of feel like a hack. Sure, art is subjective, but to suck is universal.
Are you single
Who wants to know?
Is this all serious?
Not a bit of it. Take it easy, kids.
