There's always the option of not affiliating yourself with a particular culture trend. I hate extremes. There's a certain moderate level lifestyle that we can live by. I already feel so old, and for me to be all grouchy about drinking, smoking, and casual sex would immediately throw me somewhere past 40.

Straight-edge kids will forever lead a static, immutable (SAT word!) lifestyle.

I own the Hipster Handbook. I think it's the funniest most outrageous book I've ever read in my entire life.

The dictionary and hip vernacular is what got me the best.
