Poetry Time

Inspiration is a funny thing. I am trying desperately to be inspired in this room, though all I have is a fluffy, plastic rabbit and a comicly large calculator. I turn some music on, and it'll be the same four or five songs on repeat. These songs speak to me, as all music does, though I feel it'd be pointless to tell the same story of the song using my own words. Whenever I am completely uninspired yet urged to write something, I turn to really awful poetry. This is a little ditty titled:

A Day At the Zoo

Elephants and Lizards
Llamas and Eels
Birdies with gizzards
Water-soaked Seals

Goats, Lamb, and Piggies too
So soft and touchy feely
To live inside a petting zoo
Is to poop and pee-pee freely

Apes a plenty
Are throwing their scat
Not 2's, they take 20's
I wish I could do that

The lion is bare
Except for his mane
I find it unfair
So I strip to the same

Now I am a beast
Who lives in the zoo
I am the Walrus
Koo-Koo Ka-Joob.

Alex
