People should only use 'brb' when they will "Be Right Back" as the abbreviation implies. It would be much more appropriate for some to simply say "Gimme about four hours and I'll holla back at 'cha", which they could then use "GAFHAIHBAC".
I have been part of countless conversations where my friends would confess that more often than not, their use of 'LOL' is a LIE, and no such audible laughter is taking place. The worst, however, is ROTFLMAO because not often does one ever roll on the floor laughing at some stupid IM comment nor is it even possible to laugh one's ass off.

Today I returned to Dr. Mix's office to find out what the results of my blood work and EKG were. As it turns out, I have no strange bacteria in my blood and I only have a slight murmur of sorts, meaning that I'll have to go back to taking antibiodics before I get any dental work done. This doesn't quite explain the stomachaches and chest pains except that I probably have just been overexposed to a bad combination of worrying and acid reflux in the past few years. With all the crazy perscriptions I am on now, however, that should surely change. My stomach has been feeling top notch as of late, and in celebration I ate a bunch of tiny donuts today.
Right about now those donuts are saying "We want out", which means soon I will have to drop the kids off at the pool.
That's a really disgusting way of saying "I need to take a crap", but I don't know how to say that without it being disgusting or sounding like a douche (which is also disgusting). I could say "I need to make a bowel movement", though I would most likely be slapped for sounding so prissy. I could also say "I need to expel solids", though that could mean a lot of things, perhaps that I will be spitting out my teeth.
I would write more on this subject, however my stomach feels as if it were about to explode, so I will return shortly (brb), most likely 5 lbs and about 9 donuts lighter. Adieu.
