Yeah, that is what I thought, but I kinda feel embarased about "being out of it" for so long. Its humiliating. Not at the time, but on reflection. I am not used to being out of control (remember, have never been drunk or on drugs) in public at least.

Am not going to move away, probably find a job nearby, just somewhere where I can be in a better work environment. Or I may be able to change this job into what I want. Who knows? No big moves planned though :) bit tired of doing that right now.

I know but... people in pubs understand people being drunk, doesn't mean they don't look down on them. Being out of conrol for me IS humiliating. I am ALWAYS in control of myself. I really do feel quite embarrased about it. No doubt I will get over it :)
