As you may or may not know, Governor Patterson has said that New York will start recognizing same-sex marriages preformed in other states. Well, right-wing groups have been giving him hell about it, and now one group has sued to stop the measure.
The Governor's office is doing a sort of informal poll of residents, seeing what people's opinions are about the whole thing. All I'm asking is for you to quickly call up 1-518-474-8390, tell them "I support the Governor's position on same-sex marriage," and give them a NY zip code. It took me like 10 seconds.
