Well, this weekend was very relaxing. We went on a 7 hour tubing trip... thanks to Jared's great decision making! It was fun, though, and I am MUCH darker now (as hard as that is to believe). Just wanted to say - Diary of a Mad Black Woman really bit the big one. It could have easily been shortened to about 58 minutes

I liked it... I'm girly. I liked it for the emotional content and the ethnicity.

I don't deny that there's a good story in there somewhere, but there was a lot of fluff too. Also, they marketed the film on the strength of the "Madea" character. Was I the only one who thought SHE was supposed to be the titular "Mad Black Woman" ?

Yeah, I did kinda think that "Madea" would be the "Mad Black Woman." I think that would have given the movie more comedic content.
